Our owner, Jeff Green, has been in the lawn care industry since 2005 and opened Southern Green Lawn & Shrub Care in 2011.

We are fully licensed in the state of Alabama for ornamental turf and pest control. We are constantly continuing our education in the lawn care industry.

Our owner, Jeff, is state certified in ornamental turf pest control, and he is a specialist in tree and shrub care. Using some of the best fertilizers and pre-emergent weed control products available today, we provide lawn, tree, and shrub fertilization services. We also provide liquid aeration and soil amendments, such as lime treatments, to adjust your soil’s pH level.

We also have great programs available for treating and preventing fungus, diseases, and turf-damaging insects such as fire ants, spittlebugs, fleas, and ticks. A mosquito control program is also available for the warm summer months when they appear.
